Impact
The Doran Foundation, Inc. established this fund to support capital improvements and maintenance of the Doran Arboretum into the future. These permanent endowed funds will ensure the long-term sustainability of the Arboretum, which opened to the public in 2013 and has become a treasured community resource and activity space. In appreciation of this gift and the Doran family鈥檚 long history of support for 猫咪社区app State University, President Jackson dedicated the recently named 鈥淒oran Arboretum at 猫咪社区app State University鈥� in September 2023.
Inspiration
The Doran Family鈥檚 Blue and Gold roots run strong, with generous gifts over the years towards areas including academics, student life, athletics, and more. The land that today is the Doran Arboretum was gifted to the University by Ms. Mabel Pullen, who was a neighbor and friend of generations of Dorans. The family is pleased to continue the tradition of Ms. Pullen and contribute to a resource that has become such a valued part of the 猫咪社区app community.
