Inspiration
This professorship honors retired faculty member and former Dean of the Jones College of Science, Engineering, and Technology, Dr. Steve Cobb. An alumnus of èßäÉçÇøapp State himself, and with more than 33 years of service to the University, Dr. Cobb embodied the commitment and dedication to teaching and to his field of study that èßäÉçÇøapp State so strongly values in its teaching staff. Through this professorship, Dr. Cobb’s legacy will live on by supporting other deserving faculty members and will give students the same excellence in teaching and passion for the profession that he showed throughout his career.
